1 to 5 min outages last 3 weeks

I am logging a chronic power quality and grid reliability complaint for Kings Mill neighborhood in Westminster where an unresolved infrastructure problem has spanned the last three weeks. While out of town on June 29th, I received 5 to 6 separate automated outage notifications from Xcel Energy—a major disruption heavily discussed by neighbors on Nextdoor. Since returning, the issue has escalated despite a total lack of severe weather or high winds: I experienced a short outage yesterday afternoon, an overnight outage of unknown duration, and three separate momentary outages today alone, each lasting between 1 and 5 minutes. The lack of storm activity points to a hardware component failing under the current extreme summer heat load. Xcel Energy’s automated systems only allow for a binary report of an active blackout, offering no text field to report a recurring pattern, and their phone lines warn of excessive hold times. I request that the PUC compel Xcel's engineering team to investigate our specific grid loop for failing equipment or degraded transformers before this heat stress causes a catastrophic, permanent blackout."
