Curbs at "Accessible" Vault Toilets - Outdoor Recreation

Hello, I'm Rob Gilkerson from Canon City - an ADA consultant for the last 30 + years. Soon after the ADA was first signed into law, I was hired by the Arapaho/Roosevelt National Forest, and then the White River National Forests. My job at each Forest was to survey all of the front country facilities for accessibility (Visitor Centers, Campgrounds, Picnic Areas, & Trail Heads). The number one issue at most sites, was the lack off access to their SST vault toilets - either a curb, no path of travel, and/or the vault toilet being located on a hill. I still see that same issue with Federal Land Management Agencies and Local/State Governments. Photos are available upon request.
