Power Outage
I am writing about my frustration with Excel, and the decision they took impacting so many lives on April 6th.
Are we being punished for homeowners suing them after the Marshall fire? Sure seems a little suspicious. I've been in Louisville for 40 years, have gone through lot's of wind, snow, hail, and yes the fire.
Do they realize the major consequences for unexpected outages that lasted well after they wind was gone? My neighborhood has buried lines? So why am I without power. Why was half the City of Louisville with power? None of this made any sense.
This preventive outage is not a solution and definitely should not be allowed as our new normal. Is anyone compensating us for all the food we lost? The dact we had no heat. Our home was freezing. We are in our 70"s. Retired. Fixed income. Ridiculous!!
How about supplying us with information. There wasn't any. I had a 3 hour notice my power would be shut off. Totally unacceptable.
Please listen to all of the people impacted by the monopoly called Excel.
They should not be allowed to raise any rates for the near future. What a slap in the face to the people of Colorado. We deserve better. And now we will demand better. Excel showed their true color's.
Frustrated customer of Excel Energy.
