Its a monopoly, YOU NEED TO MANAGE IT

I live in Eldorado Springs. Power was poorly communicated to go out by 10am, it was out by 9;30 or so. It got windy after 12.

There is ZERO communication around when we might have power again. I have a heat pump, am on a private water system, have the foolish boulder county mandated grinder pump sewer system. So no power means no heat, water, sewer, refridgeration, or internet. This means a Tipi would be a more effective residence, because at least I could burn wood...oh wait, there is a burn ban......

As of right now, I have not had power for over 24 hours, and have ZERO communications around when we might be able to use our residence again. Xcel energy enjoys a government enabled monopoly. I understand that this is likely the best approach for managing a public utility, but that means the utilitity must be MANAGED!!

Allowing these guys to mitigate the risk from their poorly planned and poorly maintained infrastructure at the expense of the customers (US) is totally unacceptable!!

I need you to let me know what steps you are taking to hold them accountable for the lack of customer focus and the service which I can only get from them. You have my contact details and can reach me anytime!!
