The Colorado General Assembly recently passedHB23-1296 that created a task force to study rights for persons with disabilities.
The purpose of the rewrite subcommittee is to study the current Colorado Revised Statutes concerning the civil rights of persons with disabilities and make recommendations for a thorough revision and rewrite to improve clarity, ensure the civil rights of Coloradans are protected, and ensure the protections are enforceable.
