The Civil Rights Division needs to be actively studying as many hiring practices as reasonably possible, to determine if they discriminate against Autistic people.

As an Autistic person who is currently going through the job application process, it pains me to think I might be discriminated against because I didn’t meet some normative expectation or some expectation that is unfair to everyone but especially to Autistic and other neurodivergent people.

I think the Civil Rights Division should take the time to look at common hiring expectations for each industry and determine which ones disproportionately impact neurodivergent candidates, and then publish an advisory(ies) on its findings.
