Kara and Alice Brouhard

My daughter, Kara, was hit by an out of control skier at age 5 and sustained a severe TBI - she has cognitive challenges, some vision loss and L hemiplegia. She is now in her early 40’s. Despite challenges we have always looked to the outdoors for recreation. Some areas/facilities are great- like Ridgeway State Park, others could certainly be more accessible and user friendly.Glad this committee is looking at making Outdoors Colorado more readily usable for all!
