DAC you are certainly correct. I also see a lot of these people posting "thank you for keeping RL together, green is best!" Personally, they already got their way and should have no input on the new scenarios since their concerns were heard and the changes adversely affected those of us who were already affected by past redistricting changes... keep your voice loud, empower your neighbors to do the same! We can be heard too!! NO TO GREEN!!!

It seems the bigger neighborhoods had enough voices to express their concerns and many of those concerns were addressed with the new y scenarios, but it adversely affected the smaller neighborhoods with not as many voices. Children thrive on consistency and sense of belonging and the small neighborhoods often have to work thru the difficult changes while the bigger ones don't.

I second your post! We don't live in a neighborhood and get moved to new schools every single time, as if our kids don't matter as much as kids who live in big neighborhoods. This will be our 4th school in the same house

Agree completely with you. My post keeps saying it goes successfully but it's not going through. This plan adversely affects several unincorporated neighborhoods who were unnecessarily moved during the last redistricting. Shelter Haven, McIntyre Heights, Brostrom Woods, Platte Hills, Valley View... all would be affected yet again.

The constant changes for the same neighborhoods makes it extremely hard to have a positive view of the district. The same district that sent a feeler email out to see how people would react to a tax increase just a couple weeks ago.
